April 22 - Genealogy Workshop* - A full day seminar with presentations by Dana Kelly on DNA & on Norwegian genealogy. Other presentations include UWL Professor Trimmer on Migration.  This Workshop will be held at the Black River Beach Center, 1433 Rose Street, La Crosse

April 25 - DAR/SAR. What are they? Who is eligible? What is the process? as presented by Tami Rudie (DAR) La Crosse-Rebecca Myrick Chapter Regent for DAR and LAGS technologist Roxanne Munns (SAR)

May 23 - DNA Surprises. Personal experiences from Rose Gutoski, Whitey Hoehn, Kathleen Ryan & Penny Bonnar

June 27 - Cemetery Day: Cleaning & Transcribing at Oak Grove Cemetery 3pm-6pm

 

August 12-13 - Volunteer Genealogy Research at Irishfest-LaCrosse

September 26 – FamilyTreeMaker (with advantages of synching with Ancestry) as presented by LAGS Past President Terry Micks

October 24 – Finding Relatives in Patents, Trademarks & Copyrights as presented by retired patent attorney Bill O’Driscoll

November 28 – Ethnic Treat Night & Genealogy Games & Trivia. Bring a dish to pass and your wits.
